Does anyone's LO have a mild heart murmur? My 1 month old had a cardiologist appointment on Tuesday and had an echocardiogram done. The doctor said the main vessel in his heart that pumps blood to the rest of his body is enlarged and has two leafs instead of three so it's working harder to pump blood. He told me it has the potential to get worse Wich would result in a catheter or heart surgery. I'm just looking for some insight or comfort really. I'm having such a hard time wrapping my head around this and feeling guilty that maybe there is something I could have done to prevent this. I don't understand why things like this happen and I just want to help him get better...
