Ugh, so I went in for my appt today (due Feb 6th, 38w2d) and it had previously been discussed that we'd start checking for dilation to break my water at 39w (because we live 2.5hr from my midwife, and 1hr from from any hospital w a L&D;). This is my 3rd baby and I have quick labors and with winter weather, those are all factors to them "naturally inducing" me. BUT I bring it up today saying "since I'll be 39w next week, I was hoping I could get checked today..." Then it turns out not only was I misinformed by one of the midwives (they won't break water until 40w) but now they don't know if I'm due Feb 6 or Feb 11??? Apparently my LMP put me at Feb 6 but my early ultrasound was Feb 11, and they don't know which one to go by. 😫😫 I'm like "how do we not know at this point????" Plus they estimated baby's weight (by feel) at 8lb -- I've only gained 20lbs so I'm kind of shocked. But also nervous -- baby #1 weight estimated 6lbs, born at 7lb8oz. baby #2 weight estimated 7lbs, born at 8lb7oz. if this baby is already estimated at 8lbs.... ☠☠ sorry so long of a post just shocked/confused/nervous today 😩😨
