.... Can I find a free puppy/dog?

You can probably find a free dog near you, but it’s never going to be “free”. You have to pay for it to go to the vet, it will need to be fixed, you will need to get it flee and tick medicine, you need to buy it food, and so on and so forth. I would not get a dog unless you are actually willing to spend money on it because otherwise you will not be meeting all it’s needs for a healthy life.

Most animals will have an adoption fee or rehoming fee. This is for the protection of the animal, to discourage people that just want to use the animal for fights or whatever other sinister thing. 
You probably are not going to find a free pet. And if you aren't willing or able to spend money on the animal, then you probably shouldn't have one.

I have two dogs for free. they are a lab mix. Very fluffy. I keep them inside but they are outside dogs.

look at shelters we have a Dumb Friends League and if you donate money you can adopt some animals for free. my friend got a cat for $30 in the end because od the donation. also craigslist can be a good place just be cautious on that site always!
