Progesterone Level LOW?

Question

My doctor just called with my lab results. My HCG was 40, which my doctor says is normal. My progesterone on the other hand was 16.1, he acted like that was low. The doctor now has me on Prometrium 200 mg twice a day. I was only 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant when the lab test was performed. Anyone else have any issue with their progesterone? Is my low? Anyone have a successful pregnancy after?

Google says a normal range is 12-20 in 5-6 weeks

Yours is higher then mine was when they said it was low but not concerning but still put me on the pill. Stopped them at 12 weeks thank heavens, was tired of taking them.

That’s not low at all .. i work at an Obgyn s office  and usually the doctor would worry if it was below 11

My level was 12 at 6 weeks, which I thought was low, but my Dr. said it was within normal range so no need for supplements🤷
