Plus size and miscarriage?

Question

So I haven't really y been trying for a baby but in the last 7 months I've had 3 miscarriages. I'm a size 18 could this be why? Now I am ttc and I'm scared it will happen again.
Doctors can't find a medical reason why it happened but wouldn't make any comment on my weight they just kept saying your young so it wouldn't of been an issue... 
If anyone has any advice or know if that's why I would be really great full

You need to have them check your progesterone levels as soon as you get a positive test. I had a miscarriage due to low progesterone and a shitty doctor that wouldn’t see me early enough. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and I had to take progesterone injections twice a day for the first 12 weeks. My doctor checked my levels the day I got my positive test. Your body won’t sustain a pregnancy if your progesterone is low. Something to check into.

I don’t think it would be your weight. I’m larger than you and have had 2 healthy pregnancies. My daughter turned 2 recently and I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant with my second. I’m very lucky in that I haven’t had any miscarriages. I would pressure your doctor to get you tested further, and I hope you’ll find your answer.

Don’t think that’s the reason why. Sometimes things just happen and we don’t know why. Usually something went wrong with cells and genetic material

I had a failed miscarriage last week. bled out super heavy for about an hour and thought I lost the baby, thinking that my weight was the cause. the doctors neved mentioned it. they never even said a thing about my weight.The only thing they told me to do was rest......and hope that I wouldn't have a full miscarriage. Basically, that it would happen if it will happen, or, it won't.  Truth is, sometimes miscarriages happen, and there's not really a way to know why..... Medicine just isn't that advanced, I guess (fetal medicine especially)

I’m larger than an 18, and have had a healthy pregnancy and a miscarriage. The drs/nurses/midwives I’ve seen have all said that there isn’t always an explanation for miscarriages - sometimes they just happen (and it sucks). Hang in there - and make sure you talk to your doctor with concerns....they’re there to help.
