Eating pineapples to induce labor?

I would like to hear stories of anybody who has eaten pineapples to help dilate and if it has worked. I am 37 weeks and now trying this because I have heard it works .

You’d have to eat like 10 whole pineapples to make a difference

Long story but I’ll make it short. I was 40 weeks went to appt. had my on do 2nd sweep Bc the 1st one did work. Went to the mall after. Came home ate a can of pineapple and the next day I went into labor. My water broke.. you never know unless you try.
