How long till I can test?

I miscarried on January 4 and doctor said I can get pregnant right away. My HCG levels were at 0. I have not had a period yet. When can I test for this next pregnancy?

Hey hun. So sorry for your loss. I had my MC in November. I counted the first day of bleeding as day 1 of my cycle and AF came as glow predicted (I have a long cycle 32 days). we did try that month, I got a positive opk 2 1/2 wks after the MC. I have read lots of ladies getting pregnant before the next cycle returns. My dr said to call her if my cycle didn’t return within 6wks of MC. Hopefully you are one of those lucky ones to get another BFP right away.

it can happen but usually you have to have a period first. then you start tracking it like you would typically.

After my mmc and before my period I felt in the dark where I was at in my cycle so I would test every Friday with pregnancy and opks just to see if anything would show up
