It’s not your dr’s job to judge or decide if he/she thinks you are ready to have a baby. His/her job as a physician is to provide care

Yes they will. At least my dr did, and everyone I’ve known to be pregnant has had them prescribed to them.

My dr told me to pick OTC and just gave me a few guidelines (ex. Make sure at least x amount of different things)
I also now take them as my daily vitamin regardless of pregnancy status. You should take them pre-pregnancy as folic acid takes a few weeks to reach the ideal level and is most important in the early weeks of pregnancy before you would even know you’re pregnant.

My doctor did, but I didn’t take them cause they were huge and smelled terrible so I would get sick. So I bought prenatal gummies from Walmart
