Is anyone else having second trimester "nesting" going on?

I have two other children, ages 7 and 3. While I was pregnant with them my nesting instincts didn't kick in until I was at least two weeks away from having them. This pregnancy is totally different!!  I am currently 22 weeks, and for the past week or so I have constantly been cleaning; whether it be the garage, junk drawers, and especially my house!  I just want to know that I am not the only "crazy" pregger that is constantly nesting with a due date that's months away.

I'm 19w and have been in "purge mode" the last couple of weeks. Just this constant need to clean out drawers and cupboards, toss/sell/donate unused things and make space for baby! You're not crazy! Or if you are, so am I lol

Yes! This will be our second child and I don't remember it being like this when I was pregnant the first time. I have been on a crazy cleaning kick lately!

I have cleaned almost every drawer and closet in my house (just sat down from doing some). Only thing left is the garage, and baby's room it all looks great so far.

Thank you for posting this because I feel like I've been in nesting mode all last week even though I'm only 20 weeks.  I never "nested" at the end of my first pregnancy but I remember wanting to get everything ready for baby around 20 weeks last time as well.

My nesting is more that I feel like I need to have everything planned out & ready already. I'm 22 weeks.  But I think it's because our house is for sale & we're looking for a new one & haven't had any movement in that area. So I'm feeling like I need to know what we're doing, what room is this baby going to have, so I can plan it out & know what gear we need this time. All the uncertainty is making me anxious as my due date creeps closer.

I am this way at work lately. Constantly cleaning and tidying and hate leaving knowing someone else is responsible for cleaning because I stress about how dirty it will be 😁 I'm tackling my apartment tomorrow

No, but I am planning more things than I did before. I need to know schedules and the like weeks early as opposed to a day early. I don't know if this counts as nesting though.

I'm 21 weeks with a almost 2 year old and have been doing the same! Lol my husband told me that I've started a lot earlier this time! Hope the old wise tells aren't true that it means baby will come early. 😁
