I’ve been asking my husband for months now if we could get a kitten for the kids and he kept putting it off or saying he wanted a dog instead. Background (my kids are 4 and 6 and I’m currently pregnant) I told him dogs were out for now bc it would be too much on myself to have to care for a puppy, 2 toddlers that would be “helping” take care of the puppy (but we all know how that works) and a new born. I explained to him why a kitten would be better and the kids could still learn responsibly. He came home from being out of town for work (travels for work) and told me if I could find a Kitten that we both liked for under $70 then we could get one. I looked through 100s of adds for free kittens and most were scams so we decided to go to the humane society “just to look” and kittens up to 4months old were $75 so I was already over budget. After looking at the kittens and talking with the volunteers about our jobs we found out that we get a discount for both being military!!!! We also found out that bc of the hurricane recently here in FL the kittens were !!!buy one get one free!!! BOGO kittens!!! Well I can’t pass that up so we keep looking and we found Twin kittens!!!! Or litter mates!! We were only going to get one but realized it would be wrong for us to split them so yeah We just got 2 kittens for way under my budget!!!! He is also attached to the kittens now 😂😂😂 and the kids tell everyone they see that they got twin kittens!!! Meet Panda and Capitan
