Does anyone else get asked that question all the time, I’ve been with my so for 6 years now. We own a house together and have been living together since we were 19 /22 (we are 23/26 now)

We have already promised to each other that we will be together forever but we just aren’t willing to spend the money on an official wedding that our families would expect. We have mutually agreed to start ttc but can’t bring ourself to spend the money on a wedding when the money could be spent on better securing better financial security. Is anyone else in the same boat?
