Question

How do you bring up "I want to get tested to see if I'm a psychopath" to your parents?
Also, the category I self identify as is High Functioning Pro Social.
UPDATE:
Okay, to everyone telling me to go to a therapist/counsellor, it's not that easy. My parents are very anti-mental health awareness, so they wouldn't allow me. But my parents are away in Jamaica so I plan on asking when they get back. I just don't know how or when to bring it up.

If you have to ask, you should definitely test. My twin sister is actually a psychopath, she was diagnosed as HFPS so if you had any questions I could probably help. Because it is HFPS the people in her close Social group don't notice it as much as a stranger might, however, if you put it on a job application under 'mental health' you might not get the job. My sister has lost job applications she was overqualified for because people immediately associate psychopath with murderer; which is completely incorrect.

Y'all. She says she identifies as High functioning. That means she is aware that she is different. You're confusing psychopathy with sociopathy. Many psychopaths are really smart, so an HF who is very smart could make a completely correct analysis by saying that she is HFPS. Don't talk like you know anything about psychopathy if you think psychopath=murderer=insanity.

There are tests you can do online that are based on the actual clinical tests that a mental health professional would do. You obviously can't self diagnose yourself based on one of these- you would have to do the real test with a professional. But they might quench your curiosity a bit.

And Levenson tests.
