Hip area pain? 6 weeks pregnant

So I’ve been experiencing some weird pain in my hip flexer area. It comes and goes. But it’s in the front back and side of my hip area sometimes into my pelvic area only on the right side. I’ve read some things about sciatica and round ligament pain. But it doesn’t seem common in the first trimester. Anyone have experience with this? If I google side pain it comes up about ectopic but from what I’ve been reading it’s severe stomach pains on one side and this isn’t my stomach at all.

I have been suffering with hip pain the past few days (I’m 6 weeks 2 days pregnant) It’s way worse at night or if I’ve been lying down for a while. It tends to ease after a warm bath or shower and a little light exercise (gentle walk or swim) 
I suffered really bad with my hips (particularly the left one) during my 1st pregnancy, but it didn’t start until the beginning of the 2nd trimester. The doctors said it was likely to be mild SPD and to just keep my eye on it and to go back if it got unbearable. Luckily it didn’t get unbearable, I jus had a bit of trouble sleeping and had to take it easy sometimes.
It feels exactly the same that I’m experiencing now, although I felt it was too early for it to be that, so I’m not 100%. I will be asking my midwife about it at my booking in appointment in a couple weeks.

I had round ligament pain starting around 6-7 weeks. It might be uncommon but it doesn't mean you can't experience it that early.

I had a ruptured ectopic at 7 weeks in September and the only pain I had was in my right hip. I thought it couldn’t possibly be that because it’s in my hip. I didn’t have pain anywhere else until I actually felt my tube pop. Please go get an ultrasound just to be safe.
