Petite Sizing?

I have never worn petite sized clothing before but I’m wondering if I should start.I don’t know much about the sizing and what differences makes.
I only have an issue with jeans. Currently I’m 5 foot and weigh 135 pounds. I wear a short size 6. Even though they are short they still don’t fit right and I always have to pull them up. I never bought petite clothing because I’m not very tiny. Should I buy petite jeans?

Yes, try it. It can really be a game changer. I stayed away from petite clothing because I was overweight and thought petite was just for short AND thin. But it’s not. My mom is only 5 feet and I’m 5’2 so she kept bugging to try petites and yeah, it makes a difference. I have a long torso and short legs though so for example, petite T-shirt’s are always too short on me for my taste. But they’re perfect for my mom. But it makes a difference in my pants and jeans and cardigans.
