Back pain and cramps after period

So I’m on birth control. Mononessa to be exact. I always get cramps and severe lower back pain during my period since I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I’ve noticed the last two days I’ve had lower back pain still and pain/cramping on my ovaries. It felt like someone was wringing them out . This typically stops after my period. Since I’m on birth control I’m not ovulating . Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me ? Thinking abt calling my doc to see if I need to come in and get checked out
