Was this a joke

We partnered up today to do a WS in class and my 'friend' kept laughing and saying "you're so fat! Look at you! Why are you so fat!" And the teacher told her to stop and saying it's rude and she started asking why. She kept going and saying I'm white and saying how white girls are so stuck up about their skin color.

As we were putting away our stuff I turned and hit her in the face for saying that to me and she hit me back so I hit her again and she started yelling at me that she's not the one and I said "what are you gonna do? What you gonna do?" And she said fight me and I told her "do it" and she kept calling me a dumbass and saying it's a joke.

It obvs wasn't a joke Bc she was laughing and I wasn't. She'll also call me short and make fun of my hair.

The teacher got in the middle of it and told us to stop as she kept going and I just stared at her. Then she stared laughing and saying that I'm crying.

The teacher held me after class as she was still laughing about it in the hallway with the class. The teacher said she was interrogating it and it's not my fault.
