On January 3rd (at 7 weeks) I found out I was miscarrying. It was a blighted ovum and baby never developed past about 5 weeks. I had a D&C; on January 5th because my HCG levels were still rising and my doctor said it could have been weeks before my body realized I was miscarrying. He advised us to wait 2 or 3 cycles before trying again, which we absolutely plan to do. I'm just curious if anyone got pregnant right away, like their first cycle after a miscarriage or D&C; and if that's "bad". I want to know just in case something were to happen on accident. I want to allow plenty of time for my lining to grow back, but I'm also wondering about successful pregnancies that soon after miscarriage.
