Conceiving after D&C

On January 3rd (at 7 weeks) I found out I was miscarrying. It was a blighted ovum and baby never developed past about 5 weeks. I had a D&C; on January 5th because my HCG levels were still rising and my doctor said it could have been weeks before my body realized I was miscarrying. He advised us to wait 2 or 3 cycles before trying again, which we absolutely plan to do. I'm just curious if anyone got pregnant right away, like their first cycle after a miscarriage or D&C; and if that's "bad". I want to know just in case something were to happen on accident. I want to allow plenty of time for my lining to grow back, but I'm also wondering about successful pregnancies that soon after miscarriage. I'm tracking ovulation and HCG levels, but you never know! Any info is helpful and baby dust to all!!
