Skipping a period ??

Question

So if I wanted to skip my period while on the NuvaRing would I just take it out on the day I'm supposed to and right away put another one in?? 
Can/how do I skip my period?

Answer

To skip a period leave your ring in for 4 weeks and then put a new one in on the day you normally would. But you have to be really careful to remember to switch the ring on time! After 4 weeks the rings stops being effective so accidentally leaving it in for more than 4 weeks won’t prevent pregnancy.
