Did your period het lighter but cramps get worse after getting an IUD?

I got a IUD inserted about 1 or 2 months ago and my first period was normal and now I don't even have to wear tampons or pantie liners at all it's barely even spotting. But my cramps make me want to crawl up in a ball, cry, and yell at everybody who walks in the same room I'm in. Anybody else have this experience? 😂 And does it get better over time?

my periods are shitty I went 2 months without one then had one and it was so heavy and painful. then it stopped after two weeks came back the next day, stopped, came back, stopped. the cramps are so bad. but the periods are usually light. just this past one was very heavy.

I had an IUD for 6 months before I had it taken out. It made me super moody and I had the most terrible head aches. My periods were about the same tho.
