Did it hurt when you got your IUD removed?

I have been told by some people that getting an IUD removed is painful. I asked my doctor if it would be painful and she told me no. I have the Kyleena IUD and I just want to know if I should expect it to hurt when it's removed.

Nope! I just got mine out about 3 weeks ago. 
She grabbed the strings, told me to do a huge cough and counted to three. 
She had it out before I even knew it! 
I was terrified about it coming out because I had the worst pain when I got it put in. 
Don’t worry about it being painful, you don’t feel a thing! 😊

You fell more when you put it on than when is out. 👍🏻

Mine was but that’s because my body unexpectedly expelled it on its own.
