Am I infertile ?

I used to have chlamydia. I’m not sure how long I had it. Once it was cured, my boyfriend and I decided to try for a kid. He ejaculated inside me 3 times but I got my period 5 days later anyways. I’m getting kind of paranoid. Is it true that chlamydia can REALLY affect your chances of having a child?

YES, it can effect your fertility. However, having unprotected sex one month and not getting pregnant doesn’t mean your infertile. Track your cycles. It can take healthy couples up to a year to conceive.

If you got your period 5 days later, it means you weren’t fertile when you tried. I suggest trying again on your fertile period.

This happened to me but I found out I had chlamydia bc I started bleeding mid cycle really badly .. so by then it had been untreated for to long .. since then tho (2years ago) it's taking 13 months so far to try to conceive my first child .. I think it messed up my uterus but I don't know for sure

it's very true. even chlamydia infection for a week can block fallopian tubes entirely. having it for months could just leave slight scars. all depends. and it's hard to check for sure because it's a 2000 cost out of pocket for them to inject dye in your cervix and watch for the dye to expel into your abdomen. its painful. definitely make sure you're ovulating first. That's an easier problem to solve
