Hi All. I recently had a blood test done with my 12 week scan.

I was called last week and told I have a 1 in 56 chance of my baby having Down’s syndrome based only on the blood test, my age (36) and the fact I have type 2 diabetes.

I’ve done nothing but cry solid for 2 days.

I’ve been offered further tests but either way it wouldn’t change my mind on continuing with this pregnancy and to be honest one of the tests scares me a little.

Has anyone else been through this?

Just looking for piece of mind really, and advice.
