But after speaking with two different people today, one who is waiting to hear if they have cancer and the other whose daughter was apparently murdered less than a year since his wife’s death... I feel fortunate at the very least. It’s all about perspective. It’s hard to see beyond our own selves sometimes, and that’s ok. We’re human. It’s not about who’s got it worse or better, but maybe it helps to take a look around sometimes. Try to see your situation through different eyes. A little reality check.
