This is my 2nd pregnancy & my mom + sis in law are planning my baby shower this time around. The first time, I did it on my own (I lived in a diff state) and I remember I did it around my 6/7th month just to be prepared. This time they want to do like 3 weeks before my due date & I'm freaking out a bit. I keep wanting to get things & everyone keeps telling me to wait for the baby shower to see what I get. Well, I just want to be prepared! When I told my mom to do it sooner she said it didn't make sense. Now I have a cousin & close friend of the fam whose baby showers are next month & then there's another baby shower in July besides mine so I can't change the date even if I wanted to. (I'm due Aug. 14)

My hubs says to let them be that my mom is happy she can share this pregnancy with me & I'm not the kind of person who will act like a brat to get my way. I really appreciate what they plan to do & I'm excited I'm surrounded by my family this time since my first pregnancy I wasn't.
