My son is 3 weeks old and is fully formula fed. I’m not sure if it is the formula or the bottle, but my son has been crying after feeds in pain. He is very gassy and I can hear the gas rumbling in there. His stools seem different plus the frequency has also changed, but his pediatrician isn’t concerned about it. She said switching formula wouldn’t help. That switching him wouldn’t do anything and I need to lower his formula intake from 3 oz at feeds to 2 oz. Well that’s not working at all. He is actually much more fussy, because he’s hungry on top of the gas pains. I’ve tried burping him in different ways and that isn’t helping. We have tried the breast flow bottle, MAM bottle, medela bottle and just recently the Avent natural 4oz bottle with the newborn flow nipple. None of those bottles are working. He is on Similac advance. Has anyone dealt with something like this or similar?
