Can I baby develop diabetes if I had gestational diabetes during pregnancy

Hi moms, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy and was diet controlled, at the birth of my baby girl doctors checked her sugar levels and it was normal, thank God. Now at my 6weeks postpartum I was again checked for 2 hour glucose fasting test, and I scored within range. Now my baby is 3months old, and I realize that I am eating sweet a lot, I just crave for sweets badly, I am breastfeeding her, is there a chance of developing diabetes in my baby girl, from the milk that I am producing for her, though at her 2 months visit she gained weight no issues, her next visit is at 4months, we are not seeing doctor before that, should I be concerned.

Should I again go and check my sugar levels checked? Is there a chance I can develop diabetes now. Should I control my eating habits.Please suggest I am first time mom,so lost in my own bundle of confusions.
