Allergy in breast milk?
My baby girl is a HOT MESS! I miss her soft precious baby glow so much!!

She’s 5 weeks old, breastfed, and has a very obvious allergy to something.
It first began with some acne. No biggy, right? Almost all babies get acne.
Then came the cradle cap. Again, no biggy, super common. It spread to her eye brows and appeared to be present on her forehead as well. I started treating the cradle cap with baby oil and a light scrub during bath time. It seemed to help, but still comes and goes. I do not use soap or lotion or oil on her face (except oil on her forehead and eyebrows), Just warm water and pat to dry.
Next came the red spots. Like, serious red spots. No white heads, just dry flaky red spots and bumps on her cheeks.
Now, her skin is extremely dry and her red spots and bumps have spread from her cheeks to her ears, neck and chest.
She also screams bloody murder while she poos. It gets so bad I go into full mama-bear-panic-mode. Sometimes it is green. Our pediatrician said she just hasn’t gotten the hang of her digestive tract, but it just doesn’t seem that simple. Also, she has been colicky within the last couple of weeks.
According to my good friend, Google, I am pretty sure it’s an allergy. Pediatrician can’t see me for 2 weeks, but I need some peace of mind.
Milk allergies seem to be most common, so I am going to cut that out first and see if it helps.
Have any other moms had similar experiences? Was it an allergy? Was it something else? What were the symptoms?
