Flying @ 15 weeks. Should I call the dr and let her know?

Question

I’ll be taking a 2 hour flight with husband and 2 kiddos on a Thursday and returning on that Sunday. Should I call and let my doctor know or is that short a flight this early no big deal?

I travel for work a ton and have never had an issue.

My doctor told me short flights are fine up to 36 weeks.

My ob said to let her know about any trips over 2 hrs so she could prescribe me compression socks for blood clots. I love my compression socks, my legs don’t cramp up at all

I flew 13 hours at 15 weeks and was gone 3 weeks, I gave my OB a heads up before the trip, she was fine with me flying as long as there was no high risk issues. Which I ended up having a high risk pregnancy but it was much later after my trip.

The airline should have a reccomendation. I'm flying in May and as i'll be over 28 weeks and one flight is over 5 hours i need a dr's letter. such is life!
