I’m almost 40 (birthday next week) and my husband and I just started TTC. I was feeling hopeful for a couple of months, but now feeling frustrated. I know getting pregnant has been possible for a couple of my friends that are over 40. Then I opened Pandora’s box by getting a magazine about TTC and read the doomsday article for people over 35: reasons why you shouldn’t have a baby over the age of 35. Way to burst my hope bubble. Do these “experts” always have to be so negative? I’m sure anyone over 35 is aware of the stats and reasons not to have a baby over 35; where are the articles being written to encourage and help us?!
