Help!😭😂

So I wanted to make my own rose water and boughy some roses to do so. They were not pink or red and not very fragrant (I know you should use organic but lesson learned lol) and the rose water smells a bit funny to me but I've never smelled it before so im not sure.

Now, I dried some petals and infused my witch hazel with them. I know witch hazel does not smell great anyways but infused with the roses it SMELLS AWFUL!!!!

Is it just the combo of the witch hazel? Do,I have to use red roses or pink? Is it REALLY because I didn't buy organic roses?! I was looking forward to an after workout skin routine but the smell is so nauseating,to me!

Has anyone else bumbled in their spell work and herb/plant work?
