Just a joke?

My father in law, my husbands step dad, is always making little annoying jokes about how stupid my husband is but yesterday he was feeling especially cute I guess. He's going on and on and turns around and points at me and says "if you get pregnant by him I'm gonna slap you. Hahahaha!" I am still fuming. We are ttc for our first and now I don't think I'd even tell him if we came up pregnant. Am I being to sensitive?
