Boy Problems :/

So I’m a freshman cheerleader and one of the junior basketball players has been interested in me for a while. We recently had a trip & there was a pool at the hotel. Everyday we went to the pool & that’s when he started talking to me more. He got my Snapchat & we were talking to each other till 2 am. He seemed like he was obsessed w me ! He kept on telling me that I was beautiful and that he wanted to get to know me. So I just went along w it. He told all the boys on the team that we were talking & that I was the ‘finest girl he’s ever seen’. Even some of the boys told me that he would try to make every message he sent perfect & that he wouldn’t stop talking about me. 😆 After the trip he seemed to talk to me a little less & now a week & a half after the trip the team went on another trip this week w/o the cheerleaders & he left me on read, hasn’t snapped or texted me back since. 🙃 I don’t know what happened & I don’t know if I did something wrong. But it seemed so weird that he was so into me then it just stopped. This is the first time I’ve really talked a guy so I’m kinda confused. Any advice please?
