Baby eczema ?

Question

My doc told me to wash her with cedofil but that's just for body, what can I use on her hair/face because she gets it the worst in her face. And I don't truly believe it's eczema, I think it's just a rash that comes back all the time and I still don't have a clue from what. Any ideas/opinions/suggestions ?

Aveeno Baby eczema therapy. My son had had eczema since he was born and is now 4 y.o. I have been using it as his regular/daily lotion since I can remember. All other lotions cause irritation.  Try it out . :)

My daughter got eczema really bad and I lathered her in coconut oil and it helped a ton! Same with diaper rashes. It's a wonder oil!

Both of my kids have had eczema since birth. We only use aveeno eczema and regular aveeno.  At 12 and 7 they still use the aveeno eczema.

My 12 yr old washes her hair first, piles her hair on her head then washes her face and  body rinses well, then applies the lotion daily.

My 7 yr old uses some kind of 'guy' shampoo then the aveeno on his face and body followed by the aveeno lotion.

As infants we bathed them daily and applied the lotion daily. The daily baths were luke warm. We kept them on the cooler side being careful not to let them get too hot or cold.

I personally have eczema and my doctor recommended Cerave (made by Cetaphil) specifically for eczema and they have both body and face creams. I don't see why it would be an issue but you should of course ask the doctor before using it on your baby.

I used to have to ware wraps for how bad mine was... I used to put porridge in tights in the bath and bathe init ur worked amazing!!

My son has KP he gets these little bumps from dry skin I was told not to bath him everyday I put coconut oil instead of lotion and use cetaphil a gentle sensitive skin cleanser or ivory in use wen shampoo it's expensive but I don't wash his hair daily on 3x a week and he is a boy so he don't got much hair

My son had this really bad and I felt awful cause it was itchy too!! Pet fur can make eczema more irritated to so keep that in mind!! The only thing that worked for my son was baby alveeno eczema cream, I bought it at Walmart in the baby section I started using that and he slowly out grew it once we got a handle on it. I'd definitely recommend it

My dd had severe eczema as a newborn. Idk what is recommended nowadays but 15 years ago Eucerin did the trick.
