is it weird?!!!

my period is usually heavy like blood clots and such ..I work out for a day and around the time I work out the next day I got my period which was expected it started really light and it continue so I'm like I got pretty light period I don't even need a pad so I didn't put one on and the next morning my underwear was stained with blood we could say it was heavy but not a lot ... so I'm like oh okay my period is starting to get heavy so I put on a pad and it almost fill up a pad up and then I change it and put on another one ..but now 1:31am it's like really light ..it usually gets really light in the afternoon idk why ...can working out affect it ..the day I work out I hadn't work out in quite a while maybe even back to highschool days so like 2 or 3 years ago .. I never had light period so it's weird.. I had sex 2 times before my period but I use protection ..
