Spotting?

Question

30 weeks 1 day today everything feels fine and normal. Just had a regular appointment on Tuesday and baby’s heartbeat was great. 
Yesterday there was some pink/very pale red on my liner and this morning after I wiped. 
My doctors office is closed. Anybody know if this is normal? Has anybody else experienced this? Waiting for my doctors answering services to call back.

Doctor called back and said it’s likely Just capillaries bursting from straining (even Just coughing or sneezing) since I have no cramping. I’m going in for a scan tomorrow. If the spotting happens again, I start cramping, or any other developments then I go to L&D; tonight to get a scan and exam.

I would atleast try to call your doctor and see if they have someone that’s on call. I’m 29 weeks and at my 28 week appointment my doctor told me if I have ANY kind of bleeding to call them so I would call just to be safe just because if you would happen to be in early labor for some reason they can try to stop it but if you wait and get too far into labor they will have to let it happen.

It could be a small chunk of mucus plug. If no more comes out and you don’t have contractions or anything it’s probably fine. My sister lost chunks of hers starting at 28 weeks, it regenerates. But definitely speak to the on call service since they’ll have access to your records and can give better advise.
