Anyone had a stretch and sweep?

I’ve just had a stretch and sweep and was wondering if anyone will share there experience and at how far gone were you when you had the stretch and sweep?

Had my sweep Friday at 1145 had some cramping and contractions with spotting all day Friday then last night (Saturday) lost big chunk of plug along with the worst contractions ever that only lasted a total of 2 hours and went away! Lost another huge chunk of plug this morning and contractions on and off all day but no baby yet! Being induced tom nite (Monday) at 10pm

I had the stretch and sweep at 40w3d. Went into labor that night and delivered my beautiful baby boy the next day!

What's a stretch?

40 weeks and 2 days. It hasn’t done anything I don’t think. I lost my mucus plug afterwards within the three days after. Lots of brown spotting with it, which is still happening every now and then. Didn’t have any contractions after. I was 1cm 50% effaced the week before and I think they stretched to 2cm, effaced the same. My induction date is on Tuesday night because they’ll probably need to use Cervadil and she is showing no signs of coming. Just BH contractions in bursts and that’s it. 😔
