When did you announce?

I’m 5 weeks and 5 days. We have told all family. But it seems like why not tell other people as well? What do y’all think?

Answer

We miscarried at 6 weeks the first time, the day after we told family. It was extremely difficult. But, I appreciated the sympathy cards and my family rarely slipped up to say anything hurtful.
The second time we got pregnant, we only told my parents at 6 weeks and told no one else until 11w. We didn’t want to be alone but I did not want to have to tell coworkers or well-meaning friends if we miscarried again. 
Tell anyone you want, but keep in mind that Anyone you tell you should be comfortable sharing with if the worst happens.

I announced immediately when I found out I was expecting, I know they say you shouldn’t but you really never know what can happen even later in your pregnancy and I wanted lots of support from family and friends in case something were to happen 😌

I think I won’t be announcing until I know the gender because I miscarried at 6 weeks.. 
But I don’t think I wanna know the gender until my baby shower🤷🏻‍♀️ So maybe I’ll announce it still and just say that I don’t know what I’m having 🤷🏻‍♀️

I waited till 12 weeks. It's also nice to have an ultrasound done before telling everyone. The odds of a miscarriage is 1 in 5 before 8 weeks.

I’ll be 17+2 once I find out the gender! Will announce that night or day after.

I'll be around 14 or 15 weeks when we announce I'm finding out the gender Saturday.
