Anyone have experience on tandem nursing?

My son is 9mos and we are contemplating when we want to go for number 2.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and nursing my 6 and a half month old. I feel like my supply is already dropping a bit. I've started giving her bottles and night now and only nursing during the day. Her constant waking during the night is more the reason though.

Which ever way you go beware that your milk supply will drop significantly in the first trimester and once your milk changes, which can happen at any point onwards from 20 weeks, your baby/toddler may self wean. If this happens before your baby is 12 months you’d need to supplement with formula. 
My 19mo still nurses a few times a day but I don’t think there is much left for her to drink. I can hardly squeeze a drop out of one side and none on the other side. I’d be happy for her to nurse when the new baby is born but think she might be on track to wean before then

I’m 17 weeks and nursing a ten month old still. Haven’t decided if I’ll tandem or not when the second one comes but at least it’s going fine to breastfeed while pregnant.
