Membrane sweep but not dilated?

Can you get a membrane sweep even if your not dilated?

Answer

Unfortunately I was told you have to be at least 1cm for them to do a sweep. And I can tell you first hand my hospital holds true to that. I was only a fingertip dilated at my 38wk checkup and she tried to sweep but the inside of my cervix was still closed💩
