Do people bring their kids to weddings?

I would like their to be as little amount of kids as possible.

Unless otherwise stated in invitations or some other way I would assume yes people will bring their children. Depends on the setting.

My wedding guest list was nearly 40% children. :)

I love kids. Always have. I also have 3 from a previous marriage so it was a very kid friendly wedding.

I have been invited to kid free weddings. I don't usually go. It's not worth the hassle. My girls ADORE weddings. They are much more fun to attend with my little ones in tow.

It's up to you. But if you know a good number of your friends have kids it seems a bit rude to me. It adds expense and inconvences those guests with children.

Unless the wedding is at a strip club or bar or somewhere else innaproiate then what's the problem.  my child goes where I go so if you don't want my child to come then I won't be attending (unless it's somewhere innaproiate)

My son was two when my husband and I got married so we encouraged and wanted everyone to bring their children. I had activities for the kids to do at my ceremony and reception. Coloring books and crayons for the ceremony and some toys/activities to play with in the corner at the reception. They all loved the photo booth! It's totally up to you but some may not be able to come if they do have children.

Unless it states something that makes it clear that there are no kids invited some people will bring them. Some people won't and use it as a date night excuse to get a baby sitter. So if you don't want them there you need to make it clear in the invite.

There are actually a lot of people that are coming to my wedding that chose not to bring their kids. I actually encourage it. I'll have a kiddy corner at the wedding.

Expect me to. My 20 month old stays with Mommy. If you invite me, you have invited him. Luckily, he is an easy angel. Well behaved, Sweet, gentle, and he minds me. Lucky Mama here. I have worn him since the beginning and he sleeps with me. I know that must be a lot of Why he is so trusting and almost never cries. I have brought him to weddings where he was the only kid. If kids go to church, I find they do better at reverent social gatherings more often.
