Are OPKs supposed to get gradually darker?

I've been using them for 5 days, and there is a faint line, which I know is negative. But they aren't getting darker in the slightest, or lighter. Just the same. It's my first time using them. Did I maybe miss my ovulation? Or should I just keep waiting??

Thanks ladies :) I'll continue to use them until around when AF shows (just in case haha). No hope is lost :)

This month mine were very light and then one day holy crap that's a positive. Don't stress just relax and keep testing twice a day. You'll get there. Good luck!

You may have missed it but maybe not, hard to say. I would keep testing because one time i had 5days of really light test lines and then on that 5th day i decided to test later in the day and BAM! It was a positive opk so you never know! I always start using them 2 days after period is done and then until at least 4days after i got my surge just to be sure I didn't miss it! 😊
