Hey ladies! I called my drs office the day after I got my bfp to schedule an appt to come in and get a blood test to confirm my pregnancy. I read everywhere that that is the first step after your bfp. The receptionist was super rude and asked me “why do you want a blood test? are you having problems?” .... I snapped back no, and that I’d like to talk to my dr about next steps and to get an official confirmation that I am indeed pregnant, so she huffed a bit and found me an appt later this week.

Did any of you get push back when you called your dr? I just kept thinking, how else am I supposed to be seen and start making appts/referral to an OB without coming in to meet with my fam dr....
