I don't think it's bad. Just don't let it become into an unhealthy dependance on him. Depression is hard and other people, especially someone whom you have a strong bond with, can definitely help you but in the end, if you want to get better, you can't only rely on the presence of others. Maybe you can ask him to set rules for when he's not around regarding your mental health. Like go out of the house at least once a day also when you don't have a particular reason to.

I do the same thing. my daddy is the only person that can truly make me forget my depression, so when he leaves everything comes rushing back. you're not alone in this. talk to your daddy about it and maybe you can set up something. like with mine I have a huge teddy bear that I hug whenever I really miss him ❤️
