Mamaroo?

Hi ladies ,
So I am not sure what kind of bouncer / swing to get . I was going for the mamaroo because it has different motions and it’s electric . One of my friend said her baby out grew it fast . Any suggestions? Also if you own one do you love it ?

on another note,  not sure why two people are saying babies outgrow mamaroo fast.  I'm not judging,  just wondering how's that possible?  especially the lady that said her 4 months old baby is almost not fitting in it. this is Emily,  my daughter.  she's 16 months old.  she's well above 80th percentile for weight AND HIGHT, meaning she's above more than 80% in hight and weight, of all babies her age. she's 32 inches long and 23 lbs. she hated the mamaroo for the first 9 months,  now u can't separate her from it..she fits just fine in it. matter of fact, she's made herself quite comfortable at naps , as u can see

the mamaroo is neither a bouncer nor a swing. it's a glider. it glides, slowly side to side and with TINY up and down variations,  but nothing like a bouncer nor a swing. we were given two mamaroos at the shower.  our daughter hated them up until she was 9 months old. it's a hit or miss with the mamaroo.  if u can't get it by means of someone gifting it to u,  and if u don't want to spend that much money,  u should buy it second hand for much cheaper.  the lining gets washed, the plastic u desinfect,  no need to a new one. that way if Ur baby doesn't like it, u don't spend all that money on it for nothing. if u want GOOD swing, u should get the fisher price swing. pic bellow. it's literally one of the best SWINGS OUT THERE.  we had one and our daughter loved it. many of my friends swear by it

I believe the mamaroo is a hit or miss. My daughter LOVES it, however, I have heard some people say their babies hate it. However she is outgrowing it. She's three months and is already outgrowing it. Also, try the Graco DuetSoothe Swing. We have that as well and our daughter likes it.

They grow out of it in 6-9 months but compared to a nice fisher price swing we have, it’s by far better at soothing baby imo.

I have heard some babies grow out of it super fast. Also, it depends on what your baby likes. We had a rocker, a swing and a bouncer. My son only liked the bouncer. See if you can borrow one from someone before you commit.

We tried the mamaroo at a friends house and my son hated it, but maybe if your baby has it from day 1 it would be different. We have a Graco swing that moves front to back, and a fisher price swing that goes side to side and my son looooooves the Fisher Price swing. It’s the only thing he would nap in for the first 3 months of his life. We have the Snuggapuppy cradle n swing and it’s a lifesaver. Definitely one of the best investments we’ve made so far to save our sanity lol.

I got the mamaroo as a baby shower gift & I expected it to be great. My son used it a lot in the first 2 months but after that it was the fisher price rock and play that he absolutely loved. Could never seem to get comfortable in the mamaroo. He started sitting up in it at a very young age so it was not safe to use anymore. But we ended up lending it to a friend with a son who was only 2 Days younger than ours and they got plenty of use out of it. So it absolutely depends on your baby. Unfortunately it is a pricey item.
