I would take him in. Not for stitches so much as worry over internal bleeding or concussion. That’s a deep one, he had to have hit pretty hard.

just needs to be glued!!! you can get he special glue at like CVS or walgreens

I don’t think he needs them, but for cosmetic reasons when he’s older the bigger the scar, the bigger the area that doesn’t grow hair. So better to just get them done. Kids can be mean, you know?

I would run to cvs and get a saline wash to clean it out/see how deep it is. It really just looks like a deep flesh wound, but you can never be too safe. Be aware of any changes in mood/behavior as those are hidden symptoms of a concussion. I would also do the glue thing as someone else mentioned, but I think he should be just fine 🙂

When I was younger. Like 5, I was on the top bunk of a bunk bed, fell off and hit the back of my head on the corner of a window. Went to the hospital and they just glued me.
