my ex and his brother have a pretty close relationship and I'd *hope* that my ex would want him to be happy? And me and my ex are close friends and I hope he'd want me to be happy too?

My husbands brother is married to his ex. Its not the worse thing ever. It does make for uncomfortable family gatherings. It took my husband some time to be at peace with  the situation but it did negatively impact his relationship with his brother.
