Test taking

So I have 2 <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">period tracker</a> apps and one says I was suppose to start yesterday and one said I was suppose to start today...I have yet to start...when should I take a test if I don't start my period soon???
