Baby has excessive hiccups! Is this normal?

I'm 30 wks and for the last week or so I've noticed baby gets hiccups a lot, about 5 times a day. Makes me feel bad for the guy. Just seems like that's a lot, doesn't it?

My mom said I had the hiccups at 10 pm every night while she was pregnant. I still get them at that time frequently 😂

That's how my daughter was...and it continued until about 2. She'd get them after EVERY feeding. Every.

My baby gets hiccups at least once a day, often 2-3 times, and has done so for the past several weeks (I'm 30w 5d).  My OB says it's good because it means he's practicing breathing.

Our older daughter had the hiccups more than the rest of our kids. She's 17 now and still gets hiccups more than anyone I know.
