he was so shy and mumbled a ton and at one point awkwardly pulled out a small box of chocolates with a little Snoopy keychain. 
now every valentine's day he gets me something. with snoopy. 
this year will be 5 years together, June will be 2 years married. March we welcome our first child.

We met at college (UK version, 16+). I was in the year above him, we had some mutual friends, so we started to hang out a bit while we were in school. I was with someone else at the time, but me and my now partner were friends while I was dating this dude. After we broke up, me and my partner met up a few times, did some stuff, but decided it wasn't going further. I ended up dating someone else, while still being friends with this guy, but obviously that relationship ended too. Me and my partner met up like once or twice afterwards, but we text each other every day. Neither of us wanted a relationship so we spent a year just doing our own thing. I started to realise I had feelings I wanted to act on, so I spoke to him and he felt the same. We went on a couple of dates and I asked him to be mine. It's weird how we could have been together about 4 years before we actually were, but I'm glad it happened this way and so is he. We were both immature back then, we needed to have our own relationships and other things so we could both learn from them. If we'd started dating when we first met we wouldn't still be together

We started working at the same job together in 2009, we were both newbies so we kinda got close that way. We decided to start dating in 2011 & have been together since. We’re expecting our first child this April

We meet when I was 13.  We both train in martial arts. My mom took over the school he was training at.  We did start dating tell right before y 18th birthday. Been together now 14 years.
